DESCRIPTIONS
Accommodations & Layout
The Back Cove 26 is a fantastic vessel, offering her owners and guests features which are traditionally only found in larger vessels. Bow & stern thrusters, dockside air conditioning, an anchor windlass, full galley with enclosed head, and functional side decks are a few of her positive attributes. This vessel has been very well kept by her knowledgeable owners, and presents quite well for her age.
Her helm deck is covered by a Sunbrella top which was replaced in 2017 as is in very good condition. She has two captain's chairs on swivels - one for the helmsman to enjoy while piloting, and one for the mate to keep a lookout. Her aft cockpit is spacious for her size, and offers additional seating with brand new cushions in the late fall of 2019.
Stepping below into the cabin, you are greeted by the warm appointments which make Back Cove famous. Forward, there is a table which offers seating on either side in the bow. This table converts down to make a berth if overnight accommodation is needed. Aft of the settees is a large enclosed wet head to starboard, which offers hot & cold pressurized water, shower, and marine head. Storage may be found throughout. Opposite the head is the galley which features a stainless steel sink, single burner stove, microwave oven, refrigerator, and good storage for galleyware.
