DiMillo’s on the Chesapeake West is a serene and protected marina with seasonal dockage, yacht sales, and yacht services offered year-round. Located in West River, Maryland, this DiMillo’s location is only 20 minutes from the Chesapeake Bay and is relaxing and calm place for boaters to call home.
Chris DiMillo purchased the marina, formerly known as Shady Oaks Marina, in late 2015. The marina was in good condition with lots of potential for Chris’s growing yacht sales business. Two brokers were brought on board to work the Chesapeake area selling new and used boats! The marina is also home to one of the few remaining and operational marine railways on the bay, and includes lots of amenities such as restrooms & showers, an on-site pump out system, grills, firepits, and more! For three years the marina continued on as Shady Oaks Marina with DiMillo’s Yacht Sales operating it. In 2018 the marina was rebranded to be known as DiMillo’s on the Chesapeake, and in 2021 rebranded to a more specific, DiMillo’s on the Chesapeake West.
DiMillo’s on the Chesapeake West now employs a full time staff of 3 brokers, an admin team, and a service team. The West River location is quickly becoming a favorite destination for our clients, as the marina is an enjoyable stopping point and the staff is accommodating and knowledgable.
