DESCRIPTIONS
Vessel Overview
"Moon Chaser" will surprise you when you see her in person. She is a 2004 model which was not delivered until the 2005 model year, but she looks more like a vessel which is only a few years old. Credit to her original owners as they have taken excellent care of her. She does not look her age given how she presents herself, and must be seen to be appreciated. Always kept on her lift, she has never had bottom paint on her hull, and she has always been shrink wrapped in the winter months which has kept her gelcoat shiny. Covers have protected her interior and vinyls from the elements when not in use. Owners estimate that they have approximately 350 hours on her 270 hp. Volvo engine which is tied to the world-famous Volvo Duo-prop out-drive unit, and it has always been freshwater flushed when stored on the lift more than 24 hours.
She is rated for a total capacity of 12 people, and she has ample seating to keep you and your crew comfortable. Her cabin is set up with an oversized V-berth with filler cushion/porta-pottie below. She also comes with a removable table and corresponding leg should you want one in the cabin. Separate removable table for the cockpit stows under the port side settee when not in use. She has two chairs on swivel bases aft of the windshield, and has a large L-shaped seating area beyond. Starboard side aft offers a couple of steps to the stern & large swim platform, should you opt for swimming (intentionally or otherwise), and even a ladder to help you clamor back aboard.

Manufacturer Provided DescriptionThe performance-minded Extended V-Plane hull design of the Chaparral 235 SSi not only outpaces the competition but pays dividends inside with more legroom and storage space then one would expect at this length. In the cabin, the added space creates up to three inches more headroom than other 23-foot cuddy cabins. Topside, the balsa reinforced deck is strong yet light. UL-approved non-skid provides sure footing, oversized rails add peace of mind, and molded clash steps aid access to the foredeck.
