Well, Captain Eli and Mate Graham are still in Amsterdam, NY, awaiting the fix for the lock so today they thought they would take matters into their own hands. Equipped with a lifevest and hard hat, the boys went in to examine and see if they could perhaps MacGyver a solution. The hundred year old lock and associated switchboard is maintained meticulously, and by meticulously they mean impeccably, by four men, overseen by the Chief Engineer. It is really a remarkable simple system, but yet it is still so impressive. Tomorrow’s undertaking; dredging….Just Kidding!
